Board of Governors

The Board of Governors is in charge of establishing the role and the mission of the Collège, including setting its strategic directions. It also has fiduciary responsibility for the operations and performance of the Collège. All decisions made by the Board of Governors are made in the best interests of the Collège itself and not in the interests of any third party. The Board’s role is oversight, not management.

The Board of Governors:

Approves the college’s plans and sets strategic directions for the college
Monitors the college’s performance and sets policy standards in that regard
Recruits the President
Evaluates the performance of the President

Establishes the college budget
Represents the college to the community and speaks for the college with one voice
Ensures that appropriate practices and procedures are in place for the following:
- Effective management and administration
- Effective use of financial resources
- Accessibility of services within the community
- Quality of educational services and training provided to students
