Testimonial
My journey first began at Collège Boréal, before I moved on to university and into entrepreneurship. I’m proof that there are lots of transfer options that can open doors for you. The practical training I received in the Motive Power Technician program and the exceptional support I got from the Collège (scholarships, services and coaching) helped me build strong management and leadership skills. These tools prepared me to excel in my Master’s degree in engineering program at ÉTS de Montréal and launch my own business. Every step I took from college to university helped launch me into an exciting and meaningful career.

Assessment times vary depending on course, field of studies and methodology (for example, interview, practical demonstration, case study), but on average, you can expect it to take one to two hours.

Yes. We recommend that you use the application checklist prior to submitting an official application. The checklist will help you figure out if you:
• Have the relevant experience (job, volunteer, non-credit training, etc.)
• Have reviewed the syllabus and the intended learning outcomes
• Can provide supporting documents or take an assessment
• Are aware of the application deadlines and fees
FPPLR applications also require descriptive records for the following two programs:

• Early Childhood Education
You can use AI tools to prepare for the assessment. For example, you can:
• Generate example interview or scenario questions
• Get a summary of learning outcomes in a syllabus
• Clarify certain professional terms or concepts
• Organize your ideas or your portfolio
However, using AI to generate or fill out an assessment on your behalf is strictly forbidden. If you submit AI-generated answers as your own work, it will be considered a breach of academic integrity and may lead to disciplinary action.
