Collège Boréal appoints Tristan Fehrenbach as Director of its Windsor campus
Collège Boréal announces the appointment of Tristan Fehrenbach as Director of its Windsor campus. Holding a master’s degree in public policy and the global economy from the University of Toronto, Tristan Fehrenbach brings to his new role a diverse background in the public, entrepreneurial, education and community sectors.
Throughout his career, he has held various political adviser positions with the governments of Ontario and Alberta. This experience gave him the opportunity to work at the heart of public policy issues and develop a strong understanding of the structures, decision-making processes and institutional dynamics that shape the work of government.
His background also includes significant entrepreneurial experience. For five years, he owned and operated The Earnest Bagel Company, a Windsor bakery. This experience gave him firsthand insight into the realities of entrepreneurship and the importance of close community ties.
Tristan Fehrenbach has also dedicated part of his career to supporting newcomers to Canada. He has held various positions in this field, including at Boréal (Windsor and Chatham-Kent), the Windsor YMCA Learning and Career Centre, and the Greater Essex County District School Board.
Mr. Fehrenbach will begin his new role leading Boréal Windsor on August 31.
