A partnership to strengthen vocational training exchanges between Ontario and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

Collège Boréal is proud to announce the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Institut National de Préparation Professionnelle (INPP – National Institute for Professional Training) of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Officialized today at Boréal’s Toronto campus, this agreement marks the beginning of a partnership aimed at enhancing educational and professional exchanges between the two institutions.

This collaboration is intended to facilitate teaching assignments, research visits, joint international development projects, and the sharing of expertise in common fields of study. It reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the INPP’s capacity for training and innovation in technical and vocational sectors.

As part of Collège Boréal’s graduation ceremony in Toronto, taking place this Thursday, October 23, the INPP will also present two $500 bursaries to graduates from the DRC – demonstrating its tangible support for student success and the excellence of Boréal’s programs.

Collège Boréal is proud of this new collaboration with the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s Institut National de Préparation Professionnelle. The main objective of this agreement is to promote the sharing of knowledge and best practices between our two institutions. This partnership will also reaffirm Boréal's commitment to contributing to workforce development and the growth of the French-speaking community at the provincial, national, and international levels.
