A Bachelor of Science Degree with a Major in Computer Science: Collège Boréal’s Toronto campus has it, starting in September 2022!

2 February 2022
Collège Boréal is proud to announce a new agreement with Université TÉLUQ which will allow graduates of Boréal’s Computer Systems Technology program to obtain a college diploma plus a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Science in just four years!

This announcement is part of the dynamic new and enhanced programming offered at Collège Boréal’s Toronto campus starting in September 2022. This partnership with Université TÉLUQ is another example of the “2+2” pathway provided by Collège Boréal in Toronto and other institutions, which allows college students to move on to university-level studies immediately upon obtaining their college diploma, thus saving them time and money.

Boréal’s Computer Systems Technology program has delivered proven results for hundreds of students, providing them with a diploma that quickly landed them a job in their field. The upcoming option of a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Science will open even more doors for students in the job market, providing them with in-depth knowledge in many areas, including statistics, advanced programming and big data processing.

Other new programs to be offered at the Toronto campus will be announced in the coming months.

This partnership proves once again that Collège Boréal is committed to innovation and extending its offer of programs, particularly in the Greater Toronto area. The “2+2” pathway model provides high flexibility to anyone who would like to pursue a university degree after obtaining a college diploma. I am sure that Toronto students will seize the opportunity and will be impressed by the strength and quality of Collège Boréal’s programming in their city.
I am delighted by this partnership between Collège Boréal, a leading post-secondary institution in Ontario, and Université TÉLUQ, Québec’s distance education university. TÉLUQ’s flexible model and high quality online credit courses will allow Boréal graduates to pursue a university degree in the high-demand field of Computer Science immediately upon completing their college diploma without having to move to another location. Through its collaboration with Collège Boréal, our university shows its commitment to the spirit of the recent “Rapprochement Summit” on forging closer links between Canada’s Francophone communities by putting our 50 years of experience in distance education to work for all of Canada’s Francophone students and the institutions that serve them.
