Mr. Boulanger’s mandate will include enhancing the implementation of Collège Boréal’s immigration services across Ontario and expediting the socio-economic integration of newcomers to Canada.

Collège Boréal is pleased to announce the appointment of Frédéric Boulanger as Director of Immigration Programs and Services at Collège Boréal, effective immediately.

Frédéric Boulanger, Director of Immigration Programs and Services at Collège Boréal

Frédéric Boulanger began his career at Collège Boréal in 2011 as Regional Chief in Barrie, and since 2014 he has been the Director of the Windsor Campus. His leadership, vision and tireless sense of innovation have already helped redefine Boréal’s offer of immigration services, particularly through the creation of the positions of Career Coach and Socio-Economic Integration Navigator. These positions aim to support newcomers to Canada in their career paths (education and Canadian experience, employment, and education-based language training, etc.).

Among his many accomplishments, Frédéric Boulanger has helped increase Collège Boréal’s post-secondary enrolment, transformed and improved the infrastructure by orchestrating renovations to its campus, and was instrumental in opening an additional site in Chatham, a new region served by Collège Boréal.

Frédéric Boulanger holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Concordia University and an MBA from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM). He serves on the Boards of the Réseau de développement économique et d’employabilité (RDÉE Canada), the Société Économique de l’Ontario (SÉO) and the Quality Committee of Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare in Windsor. He also holds two CICan Leadership Institute certifications for Deans, Directors and Managers.

Frédéric Boulanger’s accomplishments and commitment toward Collège Boréal are valuable assets that add to his proven expertise in the Central-Southwestern region. With this appointment, we look forward to consolidating our institution’s vision for Francophone immigration and implementing our best practices across the province.
