A Flexible Approach to Meet Your Needs
- Full-time or part-time studies, with seven-week courses tailored to your schedule*
- Weekly interactive web conferences for all courses, held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and facilitated by faculty to enrich your learning
- Academic support services, including tech support, scholarships, and tutoring
*Exception: Human Resources Management and Agricultural Techniques programs have 14-week courses.

Collège Boréal equips students for the bilingual job market, ensuring proficiency in both spoken and written French and English. All postsecondary programs include at least one mandatory English course (except graduate certificate programs).
Full-time studies can be demanding. If needed, you may switch to part-time studies to balance your workload.

Yes. Evening web conferences, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., are crucial for your success, active engagement, and collaboration with classmates.
Some programs require at least one in-person placement, including:
- Public Administration
- Social Entrepreneurship
- Human Resources Management (placement or project)
- Early Childhood Education
- Office Administration – General
- Office Administration – Executive Secretary
- Personal Support Worker
- Social Services Worker
Placements cannot be completed remotely and may require full-time attendance for a few months.
For each online course, plan for:
- Two hours of weekly web conferences
- Two to four hours of individual or group work weekly
For 3 courses, you should expect about 12 hours of study per week.

Our tech support coaches can help you master tools such as Brightspace, Zoom, and Office 365. Virtual sessions are available upon request.
Evaluation methods vary by course and may include quizzes, case studies, research assignments, group projects, or exams. With the exception of placements, evaluations are conducted entirely online.
Some courses require textbooks, listed in the course outlines. These can be purchased at the Boréal Coop. While French-language resources are prioritized, some English-language materials may be required.

- A headset
- A stable internet connection
*MacBooks are not recommended, as some required software is not compatible with macOS.
