Insurance Plan for International Students

International students have access to the Morcare insurance plan. Only full-time students with a study permit for Canada are eligible. The insurance premiums are included in Collège Boréal’s tuition fees.

Register online to get your student medical card, at https://morcare.ca/your-space. The Registrar’s Office will give you your card two weeks after you register.

If the pharmacy or healthcare provider accepts the card, you can buy prescription drugs or medical services directly with it. If a pharmacy or healthcare provider does not accept the card, you will have to pay for the prescription drugs or healthcare services out of pocket and then claim the expense on the plan by filling out the online form (https://morcare.ca/your-space).

A list of providers who accept the card is available on the Morcare website. You can also check by calling 1-888-985-1552 (toll-free).
