M2 Exit (M) or M Modified

Description

Please note that training motorcycles are not provided for this course.

In this course, you will acquire defensive driving techniques, refine low-speed skills, practice emergency measure drills, and navigate traffic, including riding in a staggered formation. The course consists of three segments: classroom, parking lot, and road or street portions. Upon completion, students undergo the M2 Exit Road Test conducted by certified Ministry of Transportation instructors.

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation officially recognizes our M2 Exit Course to issue permanent “M” licenses. This means no additional testing at the DriveTest Centre is required after successfully completing the course (license update required within 6 months).

Course requirements include:

  • Owning a road-legal motorcycle capable of highway speeds
  • Providing and wearing personal protective gear
  • Holding a valid M2 license for a minimum of 22 months (or 18 months with completion of a recognized motorcycle training program)
  • Ownership, valid plate stickers, and current insurance

You will learn and apply defensive driving techniques, refresh low-speed skills, master vehicle control, practice emergency measures, navigate traffic scenarios, and employ advanced riding procedures. A waiver of claims must be signed before the course, as specified by the College.
