On June 1, 2024, Collège Boréal hosted an exploration day for its Paramedic program, organized by the Consortium national de formation en santé (CNFS). The event offered prospective students and their parents a unique opportunity to discover the program and learn more about potential careers in this field.

The event took place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Collège Boréal’s paramedic simulation room. The day was structured around several interactive and educational activities designed to engage participants and inform them about paramedic care career opportunities.
Activities and Demonstrations
Students and their parents had the opportunity to explore the College’s advanced facilities, including:
- The ambulance simulator: Practical demonstrations illustrated the skills required for paramedical care.
- The lab: Guided tours provided a close-up look at the equipment and technology used in the Paramedic program.
Meetings and Exchanges
- Meeting with teaching staff: Members of the paramedic teaching team presented program details and answered questions from students and their parents.
- Exchanges with current and former students: Discussion sessions provided insight into the experiences of current and former College students, offering a real-world perspective on paramedic studies and careers.
The day ended with a casual outdoor barbecue, encouraging informal conversation and fostering a sense of community among participants.
