Dynamic Learning Day at Nickel City Ninjas

On January 29, 2025, students from the Paramedic, Police Foundations, and Massage Therapy programs participated in a stimulating experience focused on collaboration, physical performance, and well-being. The event provided an opportunity to strengthen interprofessional skills while fostering team spirit in a unique setting.
The obstacle courses, designed to test strength, endurance, and strategy, challenged participants to demonstrate coordination and resilience. To support performance and prevent injury, our aspiring massage therapists provided relaxing treatments throughout the day, emphasizing the importance of well-being in demanding professions.
Active breaks and strategic warm-ups were also incorporated to optimize participation and encourage everyone’s involvement. Each moment of the day was a learning opportunity, on both a physical and interpersonal level.
At the end of the day, a friendly competition between mixed teams allowed students to apply the skills they had gained throughout the day. This enriching experience reinforced collaboration between the different fields of study while underscoring the importance of interdisciplinary work in professional settings.
