Collège Boréal celebrates the sporting achievements of its 2019-2020 athletes

20 April 2020

The Vipères gala evening at Collège Boréal usually marks the end of the academic year.

However, due to the exceptional circumstances created by the pandemic, social media and video capsules were used to present this year’s achievement awards to the student athletes of the Vipères intercollegiate and extramural sports teams on Thursday, April 16, 2020.

Our volleyball players were highlighted among this year’s recipients: Krystal Marcotte and Brett Mcintosh were named ladies’ and men’s recruits of the year, while Karlee Gravelle and Michel Ayotte were named ladies’ and men’s athletes of the year.

“Even if the current situation didn’t allow us to come together for our traditional gala, it was very important for us to take the time to honour the remarkable achievements of our athletes over the course of the season and to recognize their wide-ranging success,” said Lucie Groulx, head of Student Life at Collège Boréal.
