Collège Boréal and Réseau-femmes du Sud-Ouest de l’Ontario join forces to support the autonomy and well-being of francophone women
Today, Collège Boréal and Réseau-femmes du Sud-Ouest de l’Ontario (RFSOO) signed a memorandum of understanding to provide new opportunities for women in this region who are experiencing violence or seeking well-being and autonomy.
This collaboration will include preferential access to employment services as well as a socio-economic integration navigation service and to training programs at Collège Boréal’s Windsor campus. The Windsor campus facilities will be made available to RFSOO, and Collège Boréal students will have access to more internship opportunities, such as in the Social Services Worker program.
Collège Boréal students will also benefit from dedicated support, especially women at risk of domestic violence or newcomers needing support and knowledge on how to obtain legal services. The signing of this agreement also supports women who want to know how to start a business and address their housing needs, as well as families who need donations or any other services offered by RFSOO.

Réseau-femmes du Sud-Ouest de l’Ontario is dedicated to providing Francophone women with the support they need to achieve autonomy and well-being. We serve the women’s community. Our goal is to raise awareness of non-violence in all its forms and to encourage women to recognize the strength they have within themselves. We promote listening and dialogue among women and work actively to combat isolation. Our programs are tailored to meet the needs of women facing challenging situations, such as domestic violence, physical and psychological abuse, isolation, personal and professional harassment, and many others.
