Collège Boréal acquires innovative underground surveying technology thanks to a significant donation from NSS Canada

Students in civil and mining construction engineering will develop new skills with the $212,000 MOSS (Miner Operated Survey System) monitoring system.
As mining technologies continue to evolve rapidly, future graduates of Collège Boréal will once again have access to cutting-edge tools to prepare them for the job market. Thanks to NSS Canada’s donation of the MOSS monitoring system, students in the Civil and Mining Construction Engineering Technician program will enhance their skills and autonomy using a software platform that enables miners to survey underground environments with precision. This tool provides engineers and geologists with real-time data on the conformity of constantly evolving mine designs.
The students emerging from Boréal’s programs are the future of our industry.
