Celebrating a year of sporting success at the 2023 Vipères Gala
Yesterday today’s annual Collège Boréal Vipères gala, a total of 32 awards were presented by the College Life department and the sports sector of the AGEE (general student association).
Collège Boréal athletes were recognized for their achievements at the intramural, extramural, and intercollegiate levels during two ceremonies. The soccer, hockey, basketball, volleyball, and badminton teams were all celebrated, with their players receiving well-deserved awards for their outstanding season. One notable accomplishment was the Vipères futsal (indoor soccer) team winning their first-ever extramural tournament.

The Dennis Dionne Fair Play Award was presented to Domenic St-Aubin (from Stoney Creek, ON). Created in memory of Dennis Dionne, former coach of the badminton team at Collège Boréal, this award is given each year to an athlete who demonstrates outstanding team spirit.
The Alumni Award was presented this year to Josh Brown (from Sarnia, ON) for his significant contribution to community sports and promoting an active lifestyle in his community.
