Sign up for Collège Boréal’s hands-on, industry-focused micro-certifications designed to prepare you for a rewarding career in modern forestry equipment operations.
Through simulator training, you’ll gain confidence with operating modern forestry equipment and see real operations in action. You’ll learn how sustainable harvesting supports healthy forests, develop skills in digital mapping and data transfer, and acquire field-ready skills in machine maintenance and repair.
A strong focus on mechanical harvesting safety standards provides a solid starting point for those pursuing work as forestry equipment operators.
Work-Integrated Placement
The program includes a one-week work-integrated placement.
Who Can Apply?
- Are you at least 18 years of age?
- Are you a job seeker/unemployed and receiving EI (Employment Insurance)?
- Are you a worker with a company that is participating in an Employment Insurance work-sharing agreement?
- Are you a worker employed by a forestry company affected by tariffs or global market fluctuations?
- Are you a resident of Ontario and legally authorized to work in Canda?
