Courses Taught
Study of the principles of first aid and patient management, including artificial respiration. Discussion of choking and bleeding, shocks, unconsciousness and faintness, fractures and wounds (head, eye, spinal column), burns, poisoning, heart attacks and strokes, diabetes, epilepsy, and convulsions. This course is mandatory for obtaining many health care certificates. The cardiopulmonary resuscitation certificate – level C (which includes the reanimation for infants and child) is part of the course to obtain the CPR certificate of Ontario.
Level A and B also available.
WHMIS is the Workplace Hazardous Material Information System. Recognized across Canada, this system aims to reduce the incidence of illness and injury resulting from the use of hazardous substances. Continuous intake – online

This course is designed for people who wish to obtain the provincial certification to be able to serve alcohol in licensed establishments. Subjects covered include the effects of alcohol, the legal aspects, secure environments, risk evaluation, laws and policies of different establishments.
