About this Training
This environmental awareness training program, based on Environment Canada’s “Code of Practice for Elimination of Fluorocarbon Emissions in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems,” deals with environmentally correct equipment design and proper handling of refrigerants. It will prepare participants to comply with federal and provincial refrigeration and air conditioning regulations.
This course is for:
Individuals who require the ODP/ODS Certification to purchase and/or handle refrigerants throughout Canada in compliance with provincial and federal regulations. This certification is NOT a trade license or trade qualification.
Participants who receive a 75% or higher mark on the exam will be issued an Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) certification card.
