Joint Health and Safety Committee (Part 1 & 2)
The Joint Health and Safety Committee Certification (JHSC) is an accredited occupational health & safety program by the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training, and Skills Development, comprising 15 hours of asynchronous learning for Part 1 and 2 days of virtual workshops for Part 2, with no prerequisites required. Upon completion of both parts, participants receive the Joint Health & Safety Committee Certified Member designation.
Program Description
The Joint Health and Safety Committee Certification (JHSC) is an occupational health & safety certification accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development’s Chief Prevention Officer. Affordable and accessible, this program can be completed in as little as 30 hours. No prerequisites are required. Students must complete Parts 1 and 2 to receive the Joint Health & Safety Committee Certified Member designation.
Program details:
Part 1: 15 hours of asynchronous learning (at your own pace)
Part 2: 2 days of virtual workshops led by industry experts. This is an open-enrollment program. Students can start at their earliest convenience.
